Document & image tools that run in your browser
Merge, split, compress and convert PDFs. Convert and shrink photos. Every tool is free and needs no account, and all but three process your files on your own device — the Office converters ask before they upload.

Open tool →Why these tools are different
Most online converters upload your document to a server, process it there, and keep a copy. These do not — and the three that have to ask first, then delete the copy.
Your files stay with you
Processing happens in your browser with JavaScript. Your contract, medical record or passport scan stays on your computer. Three tools — PDF to Word, PDF to Excel and PDF to PowerPoint — need a server, because rebuilding a document’s layout is more than a browser can do; each asks your permission first and discards the copy straight afterwards.
No queue, no waiting
There is no server round-trip, so results appear as fast as your own machine can produce them.
Free, and no account needed
Every tool listed here works without a sign-up. Creating an account only saves you from retyping your email.
