Privacy Policy

The short version

Most tools on this site process your files on your own device and never upload them. Three are the exception: PDF to Word, PDF to Excel and PDF to PowerPoint, which need a server to rebuild a document’s layout. Those three ask for your permission on screen before anything is sent, hold the file in memory only for that one request, and discard it as soon as the conversion finishes. Nothing is written to disk, logged, or read by anyone.

Files you process with a tool

When you add a file to a tool, the browser reads it from your device into memory so the page’s JavaScript can work on it. The result is delivered back to you as a download. For the browser-based tools there is no server-side copy at any stage, and the file is released when you close or reload the page.

For the three converters that use a server, the file is sent only after you confirm the on-screen prompt. It is processed in memory during that single request and never stored — no copy is written to disk, and none is kept once the conversion has finished.

Information you give us

There are only two situations in which you send us information directly:

• If you create an account. We store your email address, a one-way password hash (never the password itself), whether the address has been verified, and the timestamp of your account activity. An account is optional; the tools work without one.
• If you send feedback. We receive whatever you type into the feedback form — your message, the optional email address you provide, and the page you were on when you submitted it.

Information collected automatically

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records basic technical request data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time of the request, and your browser’s user-agent string. This is used for security, abuse prevention and keeping the service online. We do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a request comes from a real person rather than an automated script. Turnstile processes technical signals from your browser as part of that check.

Cookies and local storage

We use a small amount of browser storage to make the site work. The full detail is in our cookie policy. In short: we store a sign-in token in your browser’s local storage if you choose to sign in, and Cloudflare may set short-lived security cookies. We do not currently run third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

Third parties

We rely on Cloudflare for hosting, security and email delivery. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data retention

Account records are kept while your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and its associated data at any time. Feedback messages are kept for as long as they are useful for improving the tools, after which they are removed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Children

AI-Mind is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can remove it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or how we use it, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
