Rotate or Flip an Image
Turn a picture the right way up, or mirror it. A rotation and a flip can be combined in one pass.

How to use it
Add your pictures
Drop one or more images above, or click to browse. A whole batch is turned the same way.
Choose the turn
90° clockwise is the usual fix for a photo taken sideways. Use 270° to go the other way, or 180° for an upside-down shot.
Add a mirror if needed
Horizontal mirrors left to right — handy for a selfie that looks reversed. Vertical flips top to bottom. Either can be combined with a rotation.
Check one before the rest
If you are rotating a batch, run it and open one result. Getting the direction right once saves doing the whole set again.
Download
Each picture is saved with "-rotated" in its name. The originals are left untouched.
Common issues
The photo came out upside down
Rotating twice in the same direction equals one 180° turn. If the result is wrong, turn the original the other way rather than rotating again.
Text reads backwards after a flip
That is what a mirror does. For pictures containing writing, use rotation instead of a flip.
A thin white line appeared on one edge
Some formats round fractional dimensions when turned. It is harmless and usually invisible; save as PNG if it matters.
Transparent areas turned white
JPEG cannot hold transparency. Choose PNG or WebP to keep it.
