Free options
The official free-quota page states that new Alibaba Cloud Model Studio accounts receive a free quota of typically 1 million tokens per model, valid for 90 days and available in the Beijing region only.
Subscriptions
The documentation mentions saving plans and a Token Plan with a dedicated API key; the prices are not published on the pages reviewed. Consumer membership pricing is not published.
Practical notes on billing
- Prices are quoted per million tokens and are billed on both input and output, so cost scales with conversation length and with the size of any documents you paste in.
- Input-length tiers exist for several models: the same model can cost more per token once a request exceeds a threshold, so long prompts should be evaluated at their real size.
