Free options
The consumer app states that you can use it free after signing in. For the developer platform, the official Ark product page advertises a free quota programme and a promotion of up to 5 million free tokens per model per day; the exact per-model quota rules are not published on the pages reviewed.
Subscriptions
The Ark Agent Plan activity page advertises a limited-time plan starting at ¥9.9. Consumer app membership pricing is not published.
Practical notes on billing
- Prices are quoted per million tokens and are billed on both input and output, so cost scales with conversation length and with the size of any documents you paste in.
- Input-length tiers exist for several models: the same model can cost more per token once a request exceeds a threshold, so long prompts should be evaluated at their real size.
- Documentation reviewed is in Chinese; an official English product or documentation site for Doubao was not found.
