Free options
The console distinguishes granted balance from topped-up balance and spends the granted balance first, but the official page does not publish the current sign-up credit amount.
Subscriptions
No consumer subscription plan is published on the official pricing or documentation pages.
Practical notes on billing
- Prices are quoted per million tokens and are billed on both input and output, so cost scales with conversation length and with the size of any documents you paste in.
- Input-length tiers exist for several models: the same model can cost more per token once a request exceeds a threshold, so long prompts should be evaluated at their real size.
- English and Simplified Chinese documentation are both published.

What the official pages do not state
- The same model is labelled deepseek-flash in the English docs and deepseek-v4-flash in the Chinese docs.
- Two official pages describe the V4-Pro / V4.1-Flash routing differently; check the pricing page before you commit to a model ID.
- The Chinese legal entity name is not published on the official site.
- A supported-country list is not published; the terms state that availability may differ by jurisdiction.
